The Model 42-SCS is a Total Containment Vessel equipped with an automatic hydraulic yoke system that allows the vessel to be closed safely and quickly.

- On-board 12 volt back up power system provided to operate door yoke in the event of generator failure.

The Model 42-GT-SCS is the BioChem-rated & trade version of the Model 42. It adds the capability to contain biochemical hazards present within an IED.
Standard Features:
- Will contain a biological or chemical hazard within an IED up to the unit's maximum rated explosive charge
- Sampling system can be used to identify the biochemical hazard post-detonation Provides an ability to decontaminate the system
- Self-closing door operates via an automatic hydraulic yoke system like the Model 42 – SCS.
